Spoke developed a series of podcasts and audio
downloads for students and visitors to the Kokako Lodge in
the Hunua ranges to learn more about the native bird, as it
has been re-introduced to the ranges south of Auckland.
The audio files, recorded and edited by Spoke
are available for listening at the lodge as part of the educational
process for school trips and tourists.
The material includes both storytelling and
Kokako bird songs, and as song is a big part of what makes
this native bird so special, using the audio aspect helps
capture its beauty.
